About Us
A Different Kind of Church
House Church is different from most churches. We meet in homes, but there is more to it than that. Each service is an opportunity for everyone to minister to each other.

What to Expect

Worship
Each service begins with a time of singing, worship, and ministry. Each worship time is different as people use their gifts to minister to others—maybe a testimony of what God is doing in their lives, a scripture or exhortation from the bible, a prophetic word, or a word of wisdom.

Prayer
We also take some time to break apart into groups and pray for each other. The depressed are encouraged, burdens are shared, the sick find healing, and families are restored as we seek God for each others’ needs.
Testimonies
After we pray for each other, we have a time of sharing testimonies about what God has been doing in our lives. This is an opportunity for us to encourage one another to practically walk out what we have been learning in our meetings and personal time with God.

Preaching
Following the worship and prayer time, an encouraging message is given. These practical messages challenge us to really know the God who changes our lives and helps us to change others’.
Discussion
After the message, we discuss what God spoke to each of us through the word and how we can apply it to our daily lives. This is an opportunity for questions and comments as we grow together in our relationship with God.

Meal
In addition to the ministry time, we all share a meal together. We laugh together, eat great food (usually potluck), and talk about what’s going on in our lives. But most importantly, we deepen relationships with our church family!

Hosts
Derek & Erica
Derek and Erica can’t wait to meet you. As soon as you step through the door, you will see some smiling faces and the sound of their children giggling.
